In 2007 we won a three way pitch to supply overlay and approximately
2,000sqm of temporary structures for The Portugal Masters golf
tournament.
The Portugal Masters hosted at the Victoria Clube de Golfe in
Vilamoura in October 2007 saw us providing all public and catering
areas, the exhibition and merchandising tent, the media centre,
signage, fencing and screening as well as maintenance and
experienced staff for the event.
Managing Director at GL events Owen Brown, Alex Robertson commented
“This contract demonstrates how the organising committees for large
sports tournaments see GL events Owen Brown as a brand they can
trust for these high profile events”.
Also in 2007 we provided temporary structures and overlay for the
2007 ICC Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean and were awarded
equipment contracts for the Beijing 2008 Olympics, multi sports
event Pan American Games 2007 and the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
